Iowa City Engagement Photography
I recently traveled to Iowa City to take engagement photos for my friend Sonny and his beautiful bride to be Darcy. Sonny is a native to Charles City here in north Iowa, but has since relocated to the Iowa City area. I was happy to travel there for the engagement session as I love shooting in larger cities - more options and exploration fun. New locations are refreshing for me.
We had rescheduled this session a few times thanks to a rainy Spring here in Iowa. This session was scheduled for Thursday night, but we moved it to Wednesday at the last second to dodge weather once again. It was humid and cloudy, but thankfully no rain!
We met in downtown Iowa City and floated around the pedestrian mall area before working our way across the river and the U of I campus. Good, clean, American fun.

If you are getting married and looking for a photographer, I am happy to chat! I am a non-destination photographer (Ha) which just means I am only willing to travel within a 2-3 hour radius and not much further. Generally speaking, I stick to photographs that occur in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. Generally.
