Commission I recently finished for a local chiropractor:
A commission such as the one above would be in the neighborhood of $250. It could be more or less, depending on size and concept/image. The above is acrylic and charcoal on 24x48 plywood. I frame the plywood and attach a wire. I can also stretch a canvas to any size you want. Larger = more expensive. Contact me at info@karlhaglund.com to talk about it. I am quite easy to work with.
Guitar Commissions: If you have a special guitar with some cool modifications or designs and want to immortalize it for ever in acrylic paint and charcoal then I am your man. I would need a picture of it - a good picture, maybe a few. I would also need its details - where you bought it/stole it, any modifications and any other interesting information. It will take me 2-4 weeks to finish depending on how many I have on the easel. Commisioned guitar paintings are $300-400 depending on the guitar - plus shipping and handling which is probably around $75-125 USD on a frame or considerably less if I roll it and tube it. I package and ship with extra love - actually the clerk at the UPS store does this. Contact me through this website or by emailing info@karlhaglund dot com. Famous guitars will be in the neighborhood of 600-900 depending on the artist. Could be less. There are some I wont do.
